Writer's Garret: INTRODUCTION TO CREATIVE WRITING
This first course in creative writing introduces basic tenets that underscore both poetry and creative prose. Course provides students with a general overview of the workshop method, narrative techniques, ways to enrich language and metaphor, samplings of "who's who" to read, and more. During this 10-week course, guest writers will visit to share secrets and techniques. NOTE: This course is a pre-requisite for many of our other offerings Cost: $135 members $170 nonmembers.
